⁵ And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

Just take a moment to reflect on the truth that the God who made everything that we see and don’t see is the same God who is interested in having a relationship with you. It is beautiful for me to think that the same God who made all the earth is intently focused on interacting and relating with me.  This intense focus is not without effect or power; it is capable of transforming and changing any situation. It is capable of taking anything we can think of and making it something new. ● The dead situation in your life that looks like a valley of scattered dry bones (Exe 37:1-14), emptied of all life. Behold He makes it new. ● The emptiness you feel and sense of loss, being devoid of purpose and meaning. He has a purpose for you. He knew you before you were in the womb (Jer 1:5) and He knows you now. Behold He reinvigorates and makes things new. ● The loneliness and feeling that no one cares. He has promised He will never leave you nor forsake you (Heb 13:5). Behold he makes it new. ● The hopelessness and heartbreak you feel having experienced disappointment after disappointment, and false dawn after false dawn to a point where your heart is sick (Prov 13:12). He is the Tree of Life and the One who fulfils your dreams. Behold He makes it new. 

Today you need to hear Him say there is something new, something fresh available. His mercies are new every morning (Lam 3:22) . You need to behold [thoroughly and intensely set your sights and gaze on Him and Him alone, the Author and Finisher of your faith (Heb 12:2). Despite the challenging conditions and circumstances you are facing, believe. Set your sights and gaze on the truth that He started a good work in you and He will surely see it to the end. He will surely make you beautiful and wonderful in time – an exceptional work of art. Behold He is making you new!
