Kingdom Builder
What does it take to be a Kingdom builder. Guest speaker Eric Daniel pastor from Hillside Church looks at 1 Chronicles 28 – 29. King David rose to his feet and said: “Listen to me, my fellow Israelites, my people. I had it in my heart to build a house as a place of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, for the footstool of our God, and I made plans to build it.
Prepare For Action
Zulu gives us an account of his family’s time in Newcastle. How do the chosen handle hardships? 1 Peter 1: 13 – 14 Therefore, prepare your minds for action, be self controlled, Set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.
A Kingdom that cannot be shaken
Sibs Sibanda preaches on A Kingdom that cannot be shaken, Hebrews 12 vs 18 – 29
At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”[e] 27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”[f]
