The church is served by Go Teams. Each team has a team leader who serve the church along with the members. Some teams are behind the scenes but all of them help make sure that the body is served in the best way possible. If you are keen on joining a Go Team, please email Ropafadzo (info@kingdompeoplechurch.org) or a Life Group leader who can direct you to the right individual.

Go Set-Ups

kpc-22

The Go Set-Ups crew meets on Sundays at 7am to load equipment onto the van/trailer from the equipment room. They then offload at the church venue, set up areas such as the worship centre, congregation seating, kids church, nursery, visitors area and information centre before the service. After the service at 11am, we take down equipment and load it back on to the van/trailer, and take it back to the equipment room. We encourage church members to serve. Take down usually takes under an hour. The crew meets before we leave the venue for a small meal and some fellowship. New crew members are able to easily jump in and help, even before receiving any training. There is some lifting involved, but there is plenty to help with even without lifting. Hands-on training is conducted as you serve. We encourage people to commit to what is best for them.

Go Teas

Here at Kingdom People Church, we believe in gospel hospitality and generosity. The Go Teas team prepares and serves teas after the Sunday morning service as a way of serving newcomers to the church as well as those who regularly attend church with us. We also believe fellowship with one another helps us grow closer together in spirit; Sunday teas are an informal way of continuing fellowship after the service. Go Teas is led by Natsai Mawoni.

Go Kids

Go Kids meets on Sundays to share and learn about how God cares for us at every stage in our lives.  Children aged 0-4 years have a designated play area, and the 5-12 year olds have lessons with Go Kids leaders. Led by Tapiwa, the team aims to:

  1. Get children saved – salvation.

Acts 2:39 –“For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”

  1. Children get taught the word of God – Growth.

Proverbs 22:6 –“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

  1. Children share their faith – Evangelism.

Matthew 28:19-20 – “ Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”(NIV)

  1. Children feel covered and respected in a safe place.
  2. Children are happy and relaxed at Go Kids.

Go Worship

Go Worship is the part of KPC that desires to see a full biblical expression of praise and worship for God.  Worship is not just singing songs on a Sunday; it is a lifestyle that continually lifts up the name of God.  Go Worship is comprised of worship leaders, musicians and singers.  We are involved in leading the time of worship on a Sunday morning. This does require practice, usually one evening a week.   The key requirement to be a part of Go Worship is a desire to pursue God and exalt His name!  Whilst musical and vocal abilities are important, you do not have to be a professional to be a part of us – we are all still learning.

Go Welcome

The ministry of welcome and ushering is a crucial part of church, as it is one of the most visible ministries. Church ushers serve with an extraordinary welcome by providing a warm and  safe atmosphere to usher in God’s presence. The Usher Ministry serves the people and creates an atmosphere for hospitality. The team is led by Justina.
